I have, for as long as I can remember, wanted to Blacksmith. About a year and a half ago, I was able to begin blacksmithing lessons in a local Smithy. I have learned about all aspects of smithing; how to start a forge's fire, where to hammer on an anvil, how to hammer efficiently, the names of various tools, etc...
So, after a few months of classes, I decided to set up a shop in my own home. I searched for an old forge, eventually finding one about twenty minutes from my house, and fixed an antique blower (the blower supplies air for the fire, making it hotter). I am currently working to build up my supply of tools.
